On June 16th, Beijing time, the third National Committee Meeting of the China Golf Association was held in Beijing today. It is reported that Zhang Xiaoning has been elected as the new chairman of the China Association of High Schools. Previously, the chairman of the China Association of High Schools was Yuan Weimin, former director of the General Administration of Sport of China.

Zhang Xiaoning has served as the Director of the Small Ball Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the Director of the Tennis Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, and the Vice Chairman of the China Tennis Association. On September 7, 2016, the official website of the Science and Education Department of the General Administration of Sport of China showed that Zhang Xiaoning, former director of the Small Ball Sports Management Center, had been transferred to serve as the director of the Science and Education Department of the General Administration of Sport. After Zhang Xiaoning was transferred, Wang Liwei was appointed as the Director and Party Secretary of the Small Ball Sports Management Center.

The China Golf Association was established on May 24, 1985. The first chairman was held by Rong Gaotang.
